Who we are

RestaurantAI Ltd (“RestaurantAI”, “we”, “us”) provides an AI phone-answering service for restaurants. We are a private limited company registered in England and Wales (company no. 17267018), with our registered office at 565 Green Lanes, London, N8 0RL. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us about privacy at info@restaurantai.co.uk.

What we collect

When you submit our demo request form we collect your name, your restaurant's name, your phone number, your email address, and any message you choose to send. If you contact us directly by phone, WhatsApp or email, we receive the contact details and message you share with us. Our hosting provider may also briefly log technical data (such as your IP address) to deliver the site and prevent abuse.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not set cookies and does not use advertising or analytics trackers. If that ever changes, we will update this policy and ask for any consent the law requires first.

Why we collect it, and our lawful basis

We use these details only to respond to your demo request and to discuss how RestaurantAI could work for your restaurant. Our lawful basis under the UK GDPR is your consent (you chose to submit the form) and our legitimate interests in replying to your enquiry and running our business. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for unrelated marketing without asking you first.

Where your data is stored

Your enquiry is delivered to us by email. To do this we use trusted service providers acting on our behalf, including Resend (email delivery), Cloudflare (email routing) and our email inbox provider, and the site is hosted on Vercel. If you message us on WhatsApp, that conversation is also handled by WhatsApp (Meta) under its own privacy policy. Some of these providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, they rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep your enquiry only for as long as needed to follow up and, if you become a customer, to manage that relationship. If nothing comes of the enquiry we delete it within 12 months, and we will remove it sooner on request.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict our use of your personal data, to object to processing, and to data portability. You can also withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email info@restaurantai.co.uk.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk. We'd appreciate the chance to put things right first, so please do contact us.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal data we will update this page and the “Last updated” date above. Significant changes will be flagged more prominently.
